Activated carbon reduces the oil vapour content of the compressed air to minimum residual levels. Oil vapour is the second largest vapour phase in compressed air and, like moisture, is highly likely to condense – in the case of oil vapour it condenses to form liquid oil.
High-grade removal of oil vapour using an activated carbon oil vapour adsorber reliably prevents condensation processes during cooling of compressed air and thus the formation of liquid oil. In addtion, activated carbon oil vapour adsorbers remove a variety of other hydrocarbons, odours and flavours with a long service life. .
The CAPS FCA95CAM has a 1” comm size and a capacity of 2.67 m3/min at 7 BarG. Allows the oil removal of 0.003mg/m3 and a nominal initial pressure drop of 0.05BarG.
