CAPS Product Manager for Gas and Special Projects, William Chan, recently had the valuable opportunity to visit one of our long-term supplier’s factories in Munich, Germany. INMATEC is a manufacturer of high-quality nitrogen and oxygen generation systems. CAPS have been distributing INMATEC products into the Australia market for the last 9 years and was appointed the official distributor in 2018.

During his visit to the factory, William met with INMATEC’s Export Sales Manager, Dominik Fernandez, who has been CAPS primary contact and a valued support partner for many years. Dominic gave William an extensive tour of the four major zones that comprise INMATEC’s operations. The first of these is their Training Centre. Fully equipped with different series of INMATEC nitrogen and oxygen generators, this training centre facilitates a hands-on, practical program for staff to learn how to effectively operate, service, trouble-shoot and diagnose equipment.

The next was INMATEC’s state-of-the-art Testing Zone. In this zone, every INMATEC nitrogen and oxygen generator is thoroughly tested for operation, flow and purity before being individually signed off.

The largest zone is INMATEC’s Production Zone. Here, the highly-skilled workforce assemble standard and engineered skid packages. The production zone is exceptionally clean and orderly to ensure the highest possible quality products are produced.

Finally, William spent some time in their office space, taking the opportunity to meet a number of INMATEC personnel. The office comprises a number of departments including aftersales, marketing, order processing, technical and administration. 

Reflecting on his visit, William felt that it was significantly valuable and insightful.
