Murdoch, WA, Australia
Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia, has an enviable reputation as one of Australia’s top teaching and research universities.
Murdoch University required a continuous supply of nitrogen gas for a laboratory-based application.
The requirements for the proposed Nitrogen Generator system included minimum 99.9% air purity, 2.5L/s to 5L/s flow rate and 7bar working pressure. The university also required a compressed air system for the same application, the requirements being ~4L/s flow rate, 7bar working pressure, oil-free, instrument quality air, a standby compressor with 100% redundancy and low noise level.
The designated space for the system was very restricted, which initially posed a significant challenge for CAPS.
