One of the most recent engineered blower packages to leave the CAPS Engineering facility in Welshpool, merged industry leading equipment from around the world to form a tailored solution for the client.

The CAPS Engineering team designed the package that comprised of a Kawasaki gear increased single stage centrifugal blower, combined with a GE electric motor, common baseplate, lube oil system, cooling water system and a custom-made CAPS control panel.

The package features a mixed-flow impeller, which allows the compressed gas to flow at a 45 degree angle across the impeller face into the diffusion chamber, resulting in a reduction in the horsepower required for the given application.

This aerodynamic technology, combined with rugged, time-proven construction, creates a high-volume, high efficiency low-pressure blower.
